Shot Pattern is arguably the best golf strategy app available. In this episode, Matt talks to its creator, Eric Duffet, about why he made it, how it helps golfers, and much more.

Just a little user input: I would love to have these episodes on YouTube.
Enjoyed your interview with the creator of Shot Pattern. I thought I’d check it out but could not find it on the Android store. Is it an Apple-only app? Also, as a Shot Scope user – thanks to you, Matt – it was not clear to me what Shot Pattern offers that I don’t already get with the strategy bit of Shot Scope which already incorporates my actual shots from dozens of rounds.
Jyoti,
Shot Pattern puts a lot of the MyStrategy elements into an app that’s easier to use on the course or on your phone versus a computer. I’m still a loyal Shot Scope user and would recommend Shot Scope over Shot Pattern if you could only have one, but I do find value in both.
I’ll have a full review of Shot Pattern coming soon.
Best,
Matt
