Face Balanced: When balancing a putter by the shaft on your finger, or off the edge of a table, and the putter face points straight up, the putter is “face balanced.” Face balanced putters are favored by golfers who with a straight-back/straight-through putting stroke. Face balance prevents the putter from opening and closing so much throughout the stroke.
