Plugged In Golf Contributor
Drew is the newest member of the team. From the Chicago suburbs and is a journalist by trade, he studied at the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism and earned a Master’s degree focusing on Reviewing and Reporting on the Arts and Entertainment. He plans to put that writing and criticism experience to work, bringing you the latest on clubs, equipment, and tour news.
Along with reporting on golf, he is also a huge media buff and has been a reporter for over seven years covering celebrities, TV shows, films, and popular culture. As a big foodie, you can even catch him trading in his golf clubs for piping bags on Food Network’s Worst Bakers in America. Follow him on Instagram to see the latest on the best places to eat in Chicagoland.
He’s a mid handicap (10) who was swinging a golf club before he could walk. He may have peaked when he was a kid, winning youth tournaments and scoring three holes-in-one before he was 13 years old.
At his core, he’s a storyteller, a polo shirt enthusiast, a golfer, and a foodie. If he’s not writing, you can safely assume he’s eating, playing video games, or watching something.
